Your printer can print a kid's imagination.
Page2Print is built to scale to thousands of young readers. No single organization can buy that many printer-hours, so we're building something better: a volunteer network of people whose printers do the work.
The math that makes this necessary
At 5,000 kids reading a moderate 100 pages a month, the program needs roughly 250 kg of filament and 25,000 printer-hours every month. That's 40 printers running around the clock. A print farm that size costs a fortune. A village of volunteers costs community.
Sign up & test print
Tell us about your printer and run one small test print so we know your machine is dialed in. That's the whole audition.
Get matched with jobs
When a kid near you redeems reading points, the job routes to you. Print on your schedule, a few hours a month is plenty.
Print & drop off
We send pre-sliced files, so there's no slicing skill needed. Print it, snap a photo, and drop it at the school or library hub.
Those half-spools on your shelf? They're a kid's rocket ship.
Every printer owner knows the drawer of shame: half-used spools in colors you'll never finish. Put them to work. Volunteers can print with their own leftover filament, and we'll also ship bulk filament to volunteers who need it.
- Any working FDM printer qualifies, any brand, any size.
- No slicing skills needed. Every job arrives as a ready-to-print file with locked settings, so output is consistent across the whole network.
- A few hours a month makes you a hero. Print when it suits you.
Kids stay safe, volunteers stay comfortable
No contact with kids
Jobs route through the platform. Volunteers never see children's names, addresses, or personal information.
Hub drop-offs only
Finished prints go to the kid's school or library, never to a home. Pickup happens where kids already are.
Parent-managed accounts
Every young reader's account is managed by a parent or guardian, who approves prints and redemptions.
More than warm fuzzies (though those too)
Track your impact with a personal dashboard: prints completed, pages those prints represent, and kids reached. Top contributors get recognized, and your donated filament and machine time qualify for in-kind donation receipts.
Put your printer to work.
We're assembling the founding crew of volunteer printers now, starting with our pilot schools. Join the list and we'll reach out as the network opens in your area.
Libraries, schools, and makerspaces with printers: you too. Same link.
