Why Print The Future exists
Literacy opens every door. Creativity walks through them. We're building the bridge between the two.
"To provide the platform for creativity by fostering the fundamental need for literacy."
Reading is the input.
Creating is the output.
Kids who read more, imagine more. Kids who imagine more, create more. But reading competes with every screen in the house, and "read because it's good for you" is a tough sell to an eight-year-old.
Print The Future flips the incentive. Through our Page2Print program, reading earns something tangible: 3D printing filament that turns the stories kids love into objects they can hold, show off, and keep. The book becomes the raw material for making.
And it doesn't stop with the reader. Our store will channel a portion of every sale to TxStars, putting real books into more kids' hands, while young readers spend the points they earned from reading on prints of their own.
Three things guide everything we build
Literacy comes first
Every reward in our programs points back to reading. The printing is the celebration; the book is the point.
Every child is a maker
Creativity isn't a talent a few kids have. It's what happens when imagination meets the tools to build with.
Technology should invite, not replace
AI and 3D printing serve the story the child imagined. The kid is the author; the machine is the pencil.
A nonprofit in formation
Print The Future is currently in the process of applying for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. We're building the programs, the partnerships, and the platform now, so that when recognition arrives, we're ready to serve kids on day one.
